How it works

Install Ward and open the app. Follow the one-time setup to enable Content Blocker and Web Extension in Safari settings.

The blocklist is compiled from EasyList, EasyPrivacy, uBlock and AdGuard sources on our servers, then pushed to your device automatically.

Safari blocks ad and tracker requests using declarative rules. Ads stop before they even start loading.

Optional: enable Ward All for system-wide blocking via Apple's URL Filter API (iOS 26+). Every app on the device is covered.

Privacy by design
No browsing data
Ward never collects, stores or transmits your browsing history. The extensions read compiled rules from a shared container — nothing else.
No acceptable ads
Ward is funded by its users. No one can pay to have their ads unblocked. No exceptions, no deals, no sponsored content.
Not a VPN
Ward All uses Apple's URL Filter API — the app is not in the request path, cannot see your traffic, and coexists with VPNs, Private Relay and custom DNS.
